I study individuals who share openly about their productivity workflows. Their processes range from simple to complicated. But the daily common denominators boil down to this:
- Plan
- Review
It seems too basic, but when I look at stretches of days where I feel like I’ve accomplished more, it’s usually obvious that I’ve been more intentional during those times.
There are many tools to work out the details, but the questions are simple:
- What are you going to do?
- Did you do what you said you were going to do?
What’s left is the decision to do the work.
