Sometime last fall I started thinking of 2013 as “Fail Year.” And no, I don’t mean it in a negative way at all.
First, what does it mean? Fail Year is about:
- being willing to try something that might not work
- being vulnerable
- embracing risk
- choosing projects wisely
- choosing boundaries that can allow projects to fail without being catastrophic
- using fear as a compass
It’s about living wholeheartedly and getting in the arena. It’s about showing up and embracing the potential of failure in exchange for caring enough to do the work.
