Dance on the Edge of Failure

This is the time to dance on the edge of failure; to find the precipice and peer over the edge.

The connection economy means that your voice counts, more than ever.

The gatekeepers wear no clothes and it’s time to step out and risk your art.

You matter and you need to rediscover the beauty of your unique contribution.

We need your voice. You must overcome the fear, the resistance, the real and imagined obstacles.

Shrinking back from doing your work robs us of the gifts you bring.

So, use fear as a compass and resistance as assurance.

You don’t have to know how you’re going to get it done, but you have to start the process. You’ll figure it out along the way.

Embrace the constraints. They will very well be the magic that cause the big ideas to fall from the sky.

Become who you were meant to be, more of who you were already created to be.

Prune the projects that aren’t worth the journey. Quit them before you commit. Thrash enough early on to know what is worthy of finishing.

Start before you’re ready. Move forward. Get stuck. Then get Unstuck.

You don’t need a plan, but you do need a commitment, a willingness to risk, to start, to fail.

So go fail. Then fail again.

Fail until you don’t.
